Desarrollo de las actividades en el medio natural en la ciudad de Zaragoza: limitaciones y posibilidades

Outdoor activities are one of the contents of Physical Education, not only for Primary but also for Secondary Education. Therefore, students should practise and enjoy them throughout their schooling. However, that is not always the case because teachers usually find many difficulties involved. The main one is related to organization and the need of going to a natural environment. This essay is about two teaching experiences on rappel and cycling which have been developed in two schools in Zaragoza. Reflecting on these difficulties has led us to design a plan divided in three stages and locations: the school itself, nearby settings and natural environment. This proposal optimizes the use of the existing natural spaces in the city and its surrounding area in order to solve that problem.
