Synthesis of 5-Substituted 1H-Tetrazoles from Aldoximes Using Diphenyl Phosphorazidate

A novel method for the synthesis of 5-substituted 1 H -tetrazoles using diphenyl phosphorazidate (DPPA) has been developed. Aromatic and aliphatic aldoximes underwent cycloaddition to afford the corresponding 5-substituted 1 H -tetrazoles with ease and efficiency.
