The invention discloses a hydraulic type variable valve rocker system, comprising a valve ejector rod, a rocker bracket, a rocker, a plunger and a rocker shaft, wherein the rocker bracket is capable of limiting the longitudinal displacement of the rocker and the horizontal displacement of the valve ejector rod; a second guide long hole is formed in the axial direction of the outer surface of the rocker; the plunger which moves along the axial direction is arranged in the cavity of the rocker; a first oil duct, a second oil duct and an axial hole are arranged in the plunger; a first oil cavity and a second oil cavity are formed between the plunger and the cavity of the rocker; a third oil duct and a fourth oil duct are arranged in the rocker shaft; the third oil duct is communicated with the first oil duct by an annular groove in a matching way; the fourth oil duct is communicated with the second oil duct by another annular groove in a matching way. The movement of the plunger inside the rocker is controlled by hydraulic pressure, the rocker shaft is driven to change the movement rule of a rocker fulcrum, and the variable valve stroke is finally realized; the hydraulic type variable valve rocker system has the advantages of wide applicable range, low energy consumption and simple control, and the popularization of a variable distribution technology on an engine is facilitated.
