An Agricultural Watershed Environmental Study

1988
The concerns of this study are the effects of soil and water conservation measures on a salmonid habitat for an agricultural watershed. The study includes an economic analysis in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the Water Resources Council (WRC). The models adapted or developed for the study are: instream water temperature, water yield, sediment yield, sediment intrusion into the substrate, dissolved oxygen transport & consumption, embryo survival & fry emergence, total lifestage salmonid survival model that includes estimates of commercial & recreational catch using optimal fisheries management, and net the salmonid economic model that reflects changes in the commercial and recreational harvest of salmonids.
