ESTIMASI PARAMETER RESERVOIR KOMPOSIT MENGGUNAKAN ENSEMBEL KALMAN FILTER

2013
History matching is the process of adjusting reservoir parameters, such as permeability and porosity. The aim of the process is to obtain computed performances that are in reasonable match with actual reservoir performances. After history match, the reservoir model can be used to predict the reservoir performance, oil in place, reservoir geometry etc. The EnKF is a Monte Carlo approach where the parameters are updated sequentially according to the chronological order in which the production or pressure data are assimilated. In general, the EnKF has two steps: forecast step and updating step. In this study, we built the methodology to apply the method to match reservoir permeability of one-dimensional composite reservoir based on bottom-hole pressure  observation. Pressure data are updated using the analytical solution of diffusivity equation in this reservoir. The results show that the EnKF is a promising method to estimate accurately the reservoir characteristics.
