The invention discloses a production method of ethyl acetate, belongs to the field of organic chemical industry, and particularly relates to a process for preparing and separating ethyl acetate in the existence of a catalyst. The production method is characterized by adopting the production process as follows: firstly, mixing raw materials, namely acetic acid and ethanol, according to a certain ratio by using a static mixer (5), allowing the mixture to enter from the upper part of a fixed-bed reactor (3), reacting in the fixed-bed reactor (3), enabling a reaction product to flow out from the lower part of the fixed-bed reactor (3) and then enter from the upper part of a reaction section of a catalytic distillation tower (4), reacting in the catalytic distillation tower (4), reflowing a part of a tower-top product, enabling the rest part of the tower-top product to flow out as a product, and enabling the unreacted acetic acid returns from the catalytic distillation tower (4) as well as the supplemented acetic acid to enter the catalytic distillation tower (4) from the upper part of the reaction section. According to the production method provided by the invention, process conditions are mild, the operation is easy, and the conversion rate is improved to a certain extent while the material consumption and the energy consumption are effectively reduced and the treating capability of a device is improved.
