Zweikraftstoffinjektor for a common rail system

A dual fuel common rail fuel injector (12) includes a first and a second control valve arrangement (32, 30) and first and second valve needles (80, 74). The Zweikraftstoffinjektor (12) is able to selectively inject two different fuels such as diesel and liquefied natural gas. The first and the second control valve arrangement (32, 30) operate with a single fuel, such as diesel, as the control medium. The dual fuel common rail injector (12) further includes a hydraulic locking arrangement (72).
