Clinical features of patients with recurrent Kawasaki disease

2008
Abstract This paper described clinical features of 5 patients with recurrent Kawasaki disease. The period between first and second onset was a mean two years. Five of four patients recurred within two years from the first onset. In two of five patients, clinical course of recurrence was more serious than that of the first onset. One patient associated with recurrence of coronary aneurysm. Complication rate of coronary arterial lesion after 30th day from onset in patients with recurrence was higher than that in patients without recurrence (33% vs 8%). The patients with recurrent Kawasaki disease might associate with the more serious illness than that of the first onset, and relapse of coronary aneurysm.
