Hollow glass bead/polyvinyl chloride component type wire and cable compound and preparation method thereof

The invention provides a hollow glass bead/polyvinyl chloride component type wire and cable compound. The hollow glass bead/polyvinyl chloride component type wire and cable compound is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) resin, 20-100 parts of hollow glass bead, 3.0-6.5 parts of heat stabilizer, 30-70 parts of plasticizer, 0.8-4 parts of flame retardant, 0.5-2.2 parts of lubricant, 0.3-1.5 parts of antioxidant and pigments with a suitable quantity, wherein the surface of the hollow glass bead is treated by a silane coupling agent, and the content of the silane coupling agent accounts for 0.8-2.5wt% of the hollow glass bead. The invention also provides a preparation method of the wire and cable compound. The wire and cable compound has the advantages that 1) the tensile strength and the breaking elongation are excellent; 2) the heat stability and the flame retardant property are good; 3) the density is lower; 4) the flowing property is excellent, the load of production equipment is lowered, and the production efficiency is improved.
