A new neuromuscular blocker AV002 and its antagonist

Background AV002 is a novel muscle relaxant with a duration dependent on the rate of cysteine adduction to the molecule,which has excellent clinical application perspective.Objective Compare AV002 with other muscle relaxants,and discuss its advantages and disadvantages.Content Animal experiments show that AV002 is a nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent with fast acting and moderate duration. Its neuromuscular blocking effect will be inhibited by endogenous L-cysteine Inactivated molecules. It has minimal circulatory effects. Trend The characteristics of fast onset,reliable recovery,and an moderate duration together with rapid cysteine reversal suggest that AV002 is worthy of further study and evaluation.
