The extent of emergency service coverage and its effects: an empirical analysis of work in Liaoning and Jilin

2020
Objective To analyze the coverage and working effect of emergency services in Liaoning and Jilin provinces, so as to provide theoretical basis for further improving the emergency response system of public health emergencies. Methods In order to maintain the principle of quantification, the specific indicators of the matching degree between functional services and public needs were selected to reflect the coverage of health emergency services, and the documents and literature data related to the health emergency services in the two provinces of Liaoning and Jilin were collected systematically in the excerpts. The expression of the three-level preventive function service of the health emergency service involved; the expression of the work effect of the health emergency service involved in the literature was extracted, and the work effect was judged by the "five-point scale method" ; Spearman correlation and single factor regression method were used to analyze the Liaoning and Jilin work. The relationship was analyzed between the coverage of health emergency services in the two provinces and the work efficiency of the two provinces. Results In 2017, the coverage of emergency service in Liaoning Province reached to 56.5%, and Jilin Province reached to 64.7%. The coverage of emergency services in the two provinces of Liaoning and Jilin was positively correlated with the emergency response (P<0.05), both of which were statistically significant, and Jilin Province was more significant. Conclusion Jilin Province has performed better in emergency response coverage. At the same time, it is verified that the quantitative method of emergency service coverage and the evaluation method of work effect are feasible and can be applied to other areas of public health. Key words: Emergency response service; coverage; work effect; Liaoning; Jilin
