Surface superconductivity and supercooling in lead
2002
Observations are made of metastable supercooled normal bulk states in lead samples. It is demonstrated that such states are realized when the critical field of surface superconductivity Hc3 is lower than the critical field Hc and in the opposite case. Therefore, the surface superconductivity is not a nucleus with supercritical parameters for the bulk superconductivity.
