To analyze the flow of the patient's hospitalization and its major influential factors among rural residents in Yanci county of Ningxia province.

[Objective] To analyze the flow of the patient's hospitalization and its major influential factors among rural residents of in Yanci county of Ningxia province,and to provide reference bases for the government to allocate the health resource.[Methods] With multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method,a total of 5358 farmers in Yanchi County were investigated.[Results] There were 34.8% patients in the township hospitals and 65.2% patients in the county level hospitals.Annual per capita income,hospital days,need surgery or no surgery,the type of disease are found to be statistically significant determinants of the flow of the patient's hospitalization.[Conclusion] The flow of the patient's hospitalization became more rationalized,it is necessary to increase the input of the medical institutions of the township level and the following township,and to improve the level of rural health services.
