Analysis on Factors Effecting Survival Rate in Adult Myrica rubra High-grafting

2004
The factors effecting survival rate in adult Myrica rubra high-grafting and growth of scions were analysed comprehensively by random block design with different stock kinds, different scion ages and treatments, different grafting workers and environments etc. The results showed that conditions of stocks, scion ages and treatments, environments in grafting notably effected the survival rate, but cultivars and grafting workers were not the leading factors, and some factors effected the growth and ramification of scions. In adult Myrica rubra high-grafting, young sciono age, suitable environment and stocks, grafting workers were beneficial to the survival rate of grafting. Well-fed scions of full-grown buds and well-grown stocks of complete rootage promoted the growth of scions, increased ramifications, and benefited early bearing.
