Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica.

1983
: Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica, a rare deformity of unknown etiology, is diagnosed by clinical and radiographic examination. Early diagnosis is important in order that the condition can be treated before the deformity becomes disabling. Surgery is considered the treatment of choice although surgical correction may lead to degenerative arthritis and instability of the ankle joint.
