Rate of Plant Growth Under Red, White, or Green Light

2014
This report tracks the rate of O2 production in plants as a result of different wavelengths of light effecting rate of photosynthesis. We are looking at why plants grow better under certain lighting conditions than others. ACME has given us the task of continuing to research on what wavelengths of light increase plant growth. Using chromatography, spectrometers, and O2 sensors, we tested the effects of different wavelengths on plant’s rate of photosynthesis. Our research will help ACME maximize carbohydrate production for manufacturing of bio-plastics.
