Experimental study on Antang capsule′s hypoglycemic effect

Objective:To discuss whether the Antang capsule had hypoglycemic effect.Methods:Hyperglycemia mouse model induced by alloxan was given Antang capsule for 30 d,then the influences of Antang capsule on the body weight,fasting blood glucose of normal mouse and hyperglycemia mouse as well as the sugar tolerance of hyperglycemia mouse were observed.Results:In 1.710 g/kg·bw dose group,it was found AUC(area under curve) of glucose in hyperglycemia mouse significantly decreased(P0.05).Conclusion:Antang capsule had hypoglycemic effect.
