Five years of the work of the Uranium Industry Health Centre Radiotoxicological Unit

A brief outline is given of the work of the Uranium Industry Health Centre Radiotoxicological Unit over the five years of its existence up to November 1970. The Unit's scientific accomplishments were reported on in 43 professional articles, in 43 papers presented at conferences and congresses, in 66 lectures given to the personnel of the Centre itself, and in 9 progress reports on research projects. One invention was patented. Other institutions participated in the scientific work of the Unit, namely, the Institute of Occupational Hygiene of the Uranium Industry, specialized departments of the Uranium Industry Health Centre, and specialized medical centres of various enterprises.
