The invention provides an oil extraction method for a heavy oil reservoir, which comprises the following steps: gel system profile control: configuring the composition of a front section plug formula to be 0.25%+0.05% of polymer (focusing ratio), configuring the composition of a main section plug formula to be 0.2%+0.05% of polymer (focusing ratio), firstly filling into a front section plug of a gel system, and then filling into a main section plug of the gel system; profile control: configuring 0.4% of oil displacement agent for a front section plug, configuring 0.25% of oil displacement agent for the main section plug, firstly filling into a front section plug of the oil displacement agent, and then filling into a main section plug of the oil displacement agent; water injection; and conversion. The oil extraction method for the heavy oil reservoir, which is disclosed by the invention, has the advantages of simple construction technology, high control and blocking success rate, big dewatering and oil increase amplitude and low measure cost. A construction scheme is flexibly made by aiming at the variation of the injection and extraction relationship, the plugging success rate is improved, residual oil is displaced by the self energy of edge water, the spreading volume is expanded, and scavenging area and oil field recovery ratio are improved.
