THE SKT: A JOINT SUBKILLIKETER TELESCOPE PROJECT OF THE KAX-PLAHCK-INSTITUT FOR RADIOASTRONOKIE AND STEWARD OBSERVATORY

We present a summary of the main features of the SMT project with emphasis on the site and the organisational aspects. Technical features of the telescope are presented in the proceedings of the Zermatt Symposium (Baars and Martin, 1989).
