The paleoenvironment and subsistence activities at the postcontact Milford Oneota site suggest a broad-spectrum utilization of local resources with emphasis on bison hunting and horticulture which is typical of prehistoric Oneota groups regionally. Although European trade goods are presents, there is not evidence of direct contact during the site occupation
