Analysis of pathogenic surveillance of influenza in Urumqi City from 2009 to 2010.

Objective To understand epidemic situation of influenza virus and discuss regular pattern of influenza prevalence,and provide basis for prevention and control of influenza.Methods Swabs specimens of suspected influenza-like cases from monitoring clinic and epidemic point in Urumqi were collected with DNA testing and cultivation by vaccinating renal cell MDCK of dogs for influenza viruses separation and blood clots test.The positives were differentiated with hemagglutination inhibition assay.Results There were 1 218 specimens of influenza pandemic sample and swabs specimens monitored from October 2009 to March 2010,and 181 influenza virus strains were isolated(3.72%),including new influenza H1N1 subtype of 8 strains,and H3N2 subtype of 32 strains,new H1N1 of 104 strains and hepatitis B of 37 strains.Conclusions The predominant virus type in influenza seasons is new influenza pandemic influenza H1N1 subtypes from October 2009 to January 2010 and influenza B in February 2010.
