2017년 주거실태조사에 나타난 청년가구의 주거문제와 주거상담 경험 및 주거지원 프로그램 요구도

As a part of a serial research studies on housing welfare education, information and counseling program development, this study was aimed to explore young households' experiences of housing problems and housing counseling; and their needs of housing support programs reflected in the 2017 Korea Housing Survey. By utilizing microdata of the 2017 Korea Housing Survey, data from 4,588,556 household headed by young persons aged between 19 and 39 years were analyzed statistically. Major findings were as follows: (1) Among the young households, 4.4% had experienced any problems related to their housing stability, and only 6.9% of those who experienced such problems had used housing counseling programs. (2) Among the entire young households, 43.9% showed their needs for housing support programs including housing counseling and information was also shown. (3) About one third of the young households were found to have intention to use any housing counseling programs in the near future. In conclusion, it is suggested to develop and implement housing counseling programs meeting diverse needs of young persons in order to prevent and solve their housing problems.
