Average Associating Rate Modeling in Hyper-Dense Heterogeneous Wireless Cell Networks
2019
Hyper-dense multi-tier heterogeneous cell networks (HetNets) is one of most active and promising areas in modern wireless communication researches, to cater to the explosive demand of wireless communication and QoS assurance. User associating rate in HetNets is one of QoS key metrics. In this paper, HetNets is modeled with Stochastic Geometry (SG), and the tagged user is associated one of BSs in HetNets based on the nearest distance and maximum long-term averaged received power (with biasing). Based on this, a new tractable analytical rate model is proposed with SG technology. Numerical results show that our proposed associating rate model represents a significant improvement over literature model.
