Simple base station, the channel identification method, and a program

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a suitable channel in a simple base station. SOLUTION: If the electric field strength of a carrier frequency does not exceed a threshold indicating natural noise, a simple base station 100 constituting a femtocell temporarily detects a channel allowed to use for radio communication with a mobile communication terminal MS as an unused channel. When a frequency band used for the unused channel does not exceed the threshold indicating the natural noise, the simple base station 100 sets the detected unused channel as a channel usable for the simple base station 100 based on the electric field strength measured in all ranges of a frequency band used for the detected unused channel. If the electric field strength of the frequency band does not exceed a threshold indicating a weak electric field even when the electric field strength of the frequency band exceeds the threshold indicating the natural noise, a diffusion code used for the frequency band is detected and a diffusion code which does not interfere with the detected diffusion code is used to make the frequency as a frequency allowed to use for the simple base station 100.
