Radial Potential Changes in String–Plasma with Variable Conditions of the Both End Electrodes

1993
Radial potential profiles in string-plasma which is a similar to boundary plasma drastically change for variable conditions of the both end electrodes. It is cleary observed that this depth of the potential well, Δϕ p , depends on types of the materials with both end plasma region, such as grounded metal or ceramics for target and coated or uncoated with insulator for the wall of anode. When the grounded metal target and the wall of anode are used, the Δϕ p is quite deep. The value of Δϕ p is very small for the case of the ceramics target and the insulator-coated anode.
