econstruction of Plasma Current of Tokamaks Using Combinatori Optimization Techniques

1996
New methods to reconstruct plasma shape and plasma current distribution from magnetic measurements are magnetic measurements is regarded as an optimum allocation the tokamak. For solving this optimization problem, we use two types of solutions: a genetic algorithm and a combined method of a Hopfield neural network and a genetic algorithm. The effectiveness of these methods is shown by the application of these techniques to JTdOU plasmas. major axis of torus and divide this plane into M x N segments. The plasma current distribution is approximated by the sum proposed. The reconstruction Of plasma current profile from problem of currents into cross section of the VaCUUm vessel of of the circular currents flowing through these segments and the poloida1 magnetic and the poloida1 flux induced by them are measured by magnetic Probes and flux looPS outside the plasma volume. The schematic diagram of the measurement system is shown in Fig. 2. When the strength of circular current flowing through the segment (i, j) is , the magnetic field at the magnetic probe cy in cylindrical
