The Application of Advance Nonparametric Regression in Forecasting Traffic Condition

Nonparametric regression is a better method in solving short-term traffic index forecasting.Aiming at the deficiency of this method,the article proposes an advanced method that based on principal component analysis and slope-based similarity measure.Combined with the construction practice in Xianyue tunnel in Xiamen,this method is proved to have a better forecasting performance.
