Light scattering effects in CPM and PDS measurement on a-Si:H films

Abstract We show that scattering may influence the measurement of the subband-gap absorption by the CPM technique. We present a simple method to get the true absorption value, non-affected by scattering, and to measure the scattering itself. Relationship between microstructure of material and scattering coefficient is suggested.
