Phase separation in chlorophyll a containing dipalmitoyllecithin vesicles a fluorescence and photoacoustic study

Abstract Chlorophyll a was incorporated into dipalmitoyllecithin vesicles in different concentrations. Depending on the physical state of the lipid, the chlorophyll can aggregate into domains. This phase separation was demonstrated by fluorescence as well as by photoacoustic measurements.
