This paper proposes a set of evaluation criteria that can be applied to assess ergonomic, usability and co- llaboration aspects of multitouch surfaces and their applica- tions. Multitouch surfaces are technologies that are beco- ming popular among users. Our proposal takes into account elements that are used for usability evaluation of interactive systems as well as features that have been suggested by re- searchers and developers for multi-touch surfaces and their applications. We illustrate how our proposed criteria can be applied by means of a case study, which has produced en- couraging results.
