ABA-induced expressions of ACS and ACO families in tomato fruit at different ripening stages

2009
The ripening process of tomato fruit is regulated by multi-genes. As important plant hormones, ethylene and ABA are closely related to this course. In addition, ACS and ACO play key roles in ethylene biosynthesis, and the interaction between ethylene and ABA has been studied in recent years. Tomato fruit of different stages(Immature, Mature Green, Breaker) are infiltrated with ABA by vacuum infiltration. According to ethylene production at 4 hpi and 24 hpi, 4 hpi is adopted as the time for observation. What's more, gene expressions ofACS(LeACS1A,LeACS2,LeACS4 andLeACS6)andACO(LeACO1, LeACO3, LeACO4 and LeACO6) in tomato fruit at different stages are measured by realtime PCR.
