Effect of Laser Cladding Processing Parameters on Microstructure and Properties of Cladding Layer

Laser cladding was performed on the surface of 45 steel with WC-12Co, the microstructure of cladding layer was analyzed using SEM, and microhardness of cladding layer was measured. The results show that the laser parameters have great effect on microstructure and microhardness of laser cladding layer. The effect of convection differs with the laser power. The alloy elements in the melting pond distribute more equably when the laser power is stronger.
