Synthese der ersten mono-t-butylzinnelementverbindungen

Abstract t-Butyl-tris(diethylamino)stannane (I) was obtained for the first time by Sn-alkylation of tetrakis(diethylamino)stannane with lithium-t-butyl. Alcoholysis of I with t-butanol gives the corresponding alkoxystannane t-BuSn(O-t-Bu) 3 (II). In the reaction of I with chlorotrimethylsilane the trichlorostannane t-BuSnCl 3 (III) is formed. Ill decomposes rapidly at room temperature yielding tin(II) chloride and t-butyl chloride.
