Clinical observation of integrated Chinese and Western medicines in treatment of oral lichen planus of 40 cases

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of integrated Chinese and Western medicines in treatment of oral lichen planus. Methods Eighty cases of patients with oral lichen planus were divided into treatment group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases) according to the different method of treatment, both the two groups were given BCG polysaccharide injection therapy, traditional Chinese medicine prescription treatment was given to the treatment group on the basis of BCG. Results The effective rate in control group was 85.0%, the effective rate was 97.5% in the treatment group, the differences between two groups were statistically significant ( P 0.05). The difference of VAS in the two groups before treatment was no statistically significant (P 0.05), and the difference of VAS in the two groups before treatment was statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusion Integrated Chinese and Western medicines treatment of oral lichen planus has reversal effect and thus improve the therapeutic efficacy, relief the situation of pain, it should be widely applied.
