Evaluation of mechanized pipe welding. Final report

The use of machine welding equipment and procedures for power plant pipe welding can consistently produce high quality weldments. A principal concern is related to the reliability of the requisite sophisticated equipment in rather hostile environments. This report reviews the current state of machine welding.
