Facial artery pseudoaneurysm after repair of mandibular fracture.

2012
: The authors report a case of a 59-year-old man involved in an assault that resulted in multiple mandibular fractures requiring surgical repair. He subsequently developed recurrent episodes of oral bleeding from a source that could not be identified by direct examination. Angiography of the external carotid artery identified a large pseudoaneurysm of the facial artery with extravasation. The patient underwent successful endovascular embolization without complication.
