The structure of 143Ba and 147Ce

An investigation of the β− decay of 143Cs and 147La was undertaken at the on‐line mass separator TRISTAN. Eγ, Iγ γ–γ coincidences, and γ–γ angular correlations were measured. Level schemes for 143Ba and 147Ce were constructed with proposed spin and parity assignments based upon measured transition multipolarities and γ–γ angular correlation coefficients.
