Fabrication of high optical quality factor free-standing As 2 S 3 microdisk resonators on a Silicon Chip

We demonstrate a chip-based free-standing As 2 S 3 microdisk resonator with a Q-factor of 9.8×10 5 . The critical coupling condition is achieved by efficiently coupling the modes of the microresonator with a tapered optical fiber.
