Poster Presentation : 2P-84 ; Effect of single-walled carbon nanotubes on thermal behaviors of epoxy composites

2015
In this work, we have studied for epoxy composites as a function of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) amount for thermal behaviors in the thermal latent cured systems. Surface properties of DGEBA/ SWCNT series were determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used for the thermal characterization of the thermal latent cured epoxy systems. Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) was used for the thermal stability characterization of the thermal latent cured epoxy systems. Morphologies properties of DGEBA/SWCNT series were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). From the results, we carried out that the SWCNTs had high thermal conductivity of epoxy composites in cured epoxy systems.
