Indicators of dairy and meat productivity of Simmental cows of various inter-breed types are given. It is established that regardless of the level of milk production in the herd, higher milk yield is peculiar for animals of the milk type. In the conditions of the supply of food on a conditional head per year 50 centners of fodder units, the average milk yield of cows of milk type for three lactation was 4947 5169 kg of milk, that 835 879 kg (21,6 -19,3%) more than the peers milk-meat type and 2231 2145 kg more, than at peers meat-milk type. The animals of the milk type had the highest (8.36 8,39) rate of milk production. Compared with the milk-meat type it was higher by 28.0 29,1 %, and meat-and-dairy 85,3 88,1 %. It is revealed that the best meat qualities are characterized by animals of meat-milk type. According to the mass-slaughter they outperform peers of dairy-meat and meat types by 3.6 30.5 kg (0,7 5,8 %), to mass steam carcasses and internal fat 21.5 51.1 per kg (7,7 20.6 %) and 3.0 4.3 kg (14.7 to 22,5 %); output of their carcass was higher by 2.7 5,8 %, carcass yield, respectively, above by 3.2 6,3%.
