Imobilizované 5-isopropyl-2,5-dimethyl-2-(pyridin-2-yl)imidazolidin-4-thiony jako recyklovatelné enantioselektivní katalyzátory pro Henryho reakci

Both (2R,5S)- and (2S,5S)-5-isopropyl-2,5-dimethyl-2-(pyridin-2-yl)imidazolidine-4-thiones were prepared. Subsequently, the alkylation of imidazolidine-4-thiones with benzylbromide afforded (2R,5S)-4-benzylsulfanyl-5-isopropyl-2,5-dimethyl-2-(pyridin-2-yl)imidazoline and (2S,5S)-4-benzylsulfanyl-5-isopropyl-2,5-dimethyl-2-(pyridin-2-yl)imidazoline was studied. Copper(II) complexes of prepared compounds were studied as homogenous enantioselective catalysts for Henry reaction. It was found out that these complexes are high-efficient enantioselective catalysts. Moreover, imidazolidine-4-thiones were immobilized to polymer support - copolymer ST-VBC-TEG. The final heterogeneous catalysts were obtained by reaction of copper acetate and immobilized ligands. Their catalytic activity and recyclability were studied in Henry reaction.
