1 pm Ho:YLF active mirror laser

The use of quasi-two-level laser medium in active inirror configuratinn seems to be the prospective approach to realisation of the high-power solid-state lasers. This approach was successfully applied to realisation of the diode pumped Yb:YAG laser. The low Stokes shift, thin active layer and longitudinal with respect to lascr radiation thennal gradient provide the hi& specific generalion power (3 kWicm2) with high quality of radiation.
