Nonlinear Characteristic Analysis of Screening Rod of Elastic-Rod Vibrating Screen

In order to probe into the influence of motion of screening rod of elastic-rod vibrating screen on the screening efficiency,the stability of screening rod's periodic motion was investigated using a Poincare mapping method.The results show that the evolution process of screening rod's motion state was as follows along with the change of working frequency ω: from almost periodic motion to doubling of torus state,to phase locking state and then to chaos state.Taking an elastic-rod vibrating screen with the amplitude of 4 mm and the screening rods gap of 8 mm for an example,when the working frequency ω55 rad/s,the screening rods just impact each other on the single-side;when 55 rad/sω55.9 rad/s,the screening rods work with stable almost periodic motion;when 55.9 rad/sω56.14 rad/s,the Poincare mapping projection drawing of screening rod's motion is an attractive invariant loop;when 56.14 rad/sω56.2 rad/s,the Poincare mapping projection drawing of screening rod's motion is a doubling of torus;when 56.2 rad/sω56.4 rad/s,the Poincare mapping projection drawing of screening rod's motion is a phase locking;when ω56.4 rad/s,the Poincare mapping projection drawing of screening rod's motion is a chaos.
