Key Challenges in School Reinvention

In this chapter we argue that schools need to change so radically that they have to reinvent themselves. In order to understand this position better there is a need to clarify the current underlying paradigm of schooling and some understandings about theories of change, transition management and culture, since these factors have a critical impact on how and/or whether a school can reinvent itself.
