Touch sensor capable of supporting 1-D and 2-D mode and controlling method thereof
2005
The present invention relates to a touch sensing device capable of supporting one-dimensional and two-dimensional modes and its control method. It is characterized by that it utilizes an inductor with a first direction induction line and a second direction induction line to induct the position of an object on said touch sensing device and output a first signal; under said two-dimensional mode a two-dimensional coordinate processor can be used for outputting a two-dimensional coordinate according to said first signal; under said one-dimensional mode a coordinate converter can be used for producing a second signal according to said first signal or two-dimensional coordinate; and an one-dimensional coordinate processor can be used for outputting one-dimensional coordinate according to said second signal.
