Intervention Effect of Auricular-plaster Therapy on Weight of Community Diabetic High Risk Group

Objective:To investigate the effect of auricular-plaster therapy on the weight of community diabetic high risk group. Method:60 case of diabetic high risk individuals were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The control group was treated by diet therapy, exercise therapy and health education. The treatment group was additionally given to auricular-plaster therapy. We compared the body weight, waist circumference and waist-hip ratio of the two groups before and after the intervention for 3 months respectively. Result:The body weight, waist circumference and waist-hip ratio of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P0.05). Conclusion:The auricular-plaster therapy can significantly reduce the weight of diabetic high risk group, and it is characterized by simple operation, so it is worthy of promotion.
