Vibration-rotation bands of CO2 and OCS in the region 540–890 cm−1

Abstract The regions of the ν 2 band of CO 2 and the ν 1 band of OCS have been simultaneously measured by the Fourier transform spectrometer (1, 2). The resolution achieved was now about 0.0045 cm −1 . A total of eight “hot” bands of 12 C 16 O 2 and 16 O 12 C 32 S and the fundamental bands ν 2 of 13 C 16 O 2 and ν 1 of 16 O 12 C 34 S have been reported.
