CDM Projects Experience in Albania

The Republic of Albania ratified the United National Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in October 1994 and the Kyoto Protocol in December 20041 as a non-Annex I party to the Convention. In 2005, the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Water Administration has been designated to the Secretariat of the UNFCCC as a Designated National Authority (DNA) for the CDM.
