Ffs mode liquid crystal display and method for manufacturing thereof

PURPOSE: An FFS(Fringe Field Switching) mode liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture a high resolution FFS liquid crystal display device while resolving voltage drop due to parasitic capacitance, transmittance reduction, flickering and afterimage by reinforcing storage capacitance. CONSTITUTION: A transparent pixel electrode(100) is formed in a unit pixel area of an upper part of a transparent auxiliary capacitive electrode(70) and is connected to a drain electrode(50b) of a switching device through a contact hole(90). A transparent common electrode(120) is formed in an upper part of the transparent pixel electrode. At least a part of the transparent common electrode is overlapped with the transparent pixel electrode and data line. The transparent auxiliary capacitive electrode is electrically connected between the adjacent unit pixel regions. The same signal is supplied to the transparent auxiliary capacitive electrode and transparent common electrode.
